Can You Suggest A Fun And Educational Toy For A Three Year Old Boy?

my friend’s son is turn­ing three years old next month
and when I asked her what type of present he might like, she requested edu­ca­tional toys
my son is only 2 months old so I don’t have much expe­ri­ence with three year olds and I don’t really know what they enjoy so any sug­ges­tions greatly appre­ci­ated

    Ideas:
    – Dr. Seuss books
    – ABC inter­ac­tive toys such as the leap frog alpha­bet refrig­er­a­tor thing that sings & says what a let­ter sounds like.
    Go to a teacher’s tools edu­ca­tional store. They will have all types of cre­ative, edu­ca­tional toys.

    Webkinz Jr. toys
    Books (easy for three year olds to read, of course!)
