We needed to find a “scruffy/scruffilina” like her older brother and sister. By using Amazon, we were able to find a number of the “Ty” brand small puppies and our 3-year old daughter was delighted to find this one with pink spots.

My daughter received this puppy as a gift when she was one. Right away she loved it, and over time she has grown really attached to it. She sleeps with it and takes it to daycare with her. She kisses it all the time. I purchased three more — just in case something unfortunate should happen to hers. If my daughter ends up not needing them, they would still make excellent gifts for other children.

Simple yet fun, this brightly colored plastic ring toy is the perfect first baby toy for any child. Teaches colors, coordination, and balance. I have had ours since our first daughter’s birth more than two years ago and it still holds her attention as she learns new motor skills at each stage of development. In the beginning it’s just fun for a baby to look at, touching it to cause the base to rock back and forth without toppling over. Then as baby learns to remove the “Lifesaver Styled” rings, they become familiar with how they each fit on the rack. Color recognition comes later, and of course we always had fun playing peek-a-boo with our eyes hidden inside each hole! As our kids became more imaginative, they pretended the rings were donuts and served them up on their tea set. The toy is durable, quick to clean, easy to store or take along on trips. This Fisher Price old time favorite is a must-have goodie for your baby’s toy box.

My 22 year old son likes to collect odd “action figure” toys. He bought this and the Sigmund Freud figure as well. They’re both well made, nicely detailed and I think he’d hold up to play if that’s what one watned to do with him.

The toy was what I expected, however, had to pay $ 6.95 to ship it! The PRICE of the toy was $ 6.95! I tried to IMMEDIATELY cancel when I saw this (I mistakely thought it would go towards Super Saver Shipping), but Amazon or the third-party retailer wouldn’t allow it. I then saw the toy in a party store the next day, once again, for $ 6.95, NO SHIPPING! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Neytiri was my favorite character in the movie, so she was among the first Avatar toys I bought. Of course, it didn’t look much like her, but that’s because Neytiri is 10 feet tall in the movie. Pros: I’ve got to say that she is very detailed: her hair and bracelets and feathers are very intricately sculpted. Almost every joint is articulated two or three different ways, meaning she is very poseable. Cons: The tiny articulated joints feel easy to break. Her tail doesn’t turn, so it gets in the way when I try to make her sit on the Navi banshee creature. I almost broke her tail off because I thought it did turn (everything else is articulated). The loincloth gets in the way, too. I spent a long time trying to pose her on the banshee, but no success. Also, she does not have the Bio-Lume glow in the dark spots advertized on the website. At the i-Tag site, it says that version of the figure is “coming soon.” It is also quite expensive for its size (maybe that’s because of the i-Tag). I can’t review the i-Tag part because I don’t have a webcam and cannot use it. It looks pretty cool, though. The final word: This figure is probably best for adult collectors, because it doesn’t seem tough enough for kids to play with.
