How Affective Are Those Educational Toys Such As Leap Frogs Stuff? I See Them As Toys?

i dont know how affective are those educational toys and software.. i see them as play time for small children. I think they will remember them as toys much like how we used to play candy land

My oldest learned a lot from them, but my second one didn’t. She just likes to play. But playing is a type of learning too. When you play Candy Land you learn how to share, take turns, your colors, how to sit still, follow directions, & good sportsmanship(hopefully!). So it will depend on your child & what they are playing.

yes they think of them as toys but
when we played candy land we learned our colors and counting
same as toys today they learn from them without knowing theyre learning
