    Granted the facial sculp­tures on these fig­ures isn’t the great­est. But, in my opin­ion I hap­pen to like it that way. It gives these new Indi­ana Jones fig­ures a type of nos­tal­gic qual­ity. This Indy fig­ure kind of harkens back to the old Ken­ner toy day’s of the late 70’s and 80’s. I like that. After all, these are just small 4″ inch action fig­ures, not sculp­tures or stat­ues. If you want youre Indi­ana Jones fig­ure with a per­fect, dead on like­ness and sculpt then buy him as a statue. These are just action fig­ures people.

    With the release of INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, it’s been nine­teen years since the last Indi­ana Jones flick. George Lucas, Para­mount, and com­pany weren’t going to let this huge event movie get away with­out some major mer­chan­dis­ing, includ­ing a full line of action fig­ures. I grew up watch­ing the Indi­ana Jones films and I’m glad to own one of these action fig­ures. This fig­ure is the clas­sic Indy fig­ure from RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. The fig­ure harkens back to the clas­sic action fig­ures of the 1980s, but with more points of artic­u­la­tion. The only neg­a­tive about the fig­ure is the face. Even though this is a toy, the face is kind of creepy-looking when viewed straight on. If you look at the face from the side, how­ever, he looks like Indi­ana Jones. Great item for any Indi­ana Jones fan, whether young or old.
