This Old Snake figure is exactly what an MGS4 fan is looking for. Snake is in his famous crouching pose from MGS4 –Ciggarette in mouth– and it looks great. Medicom has done a wonderful job in recreating old snake. I have read reviews of Medicom toys before, so I was skeptical with this snake figure. However, this is a statue really, with no poseability. Snake is completely Static. The detail is very high, with extremely small print on his octocamo suit that you can actually read. This toy is easily of McFarlane detail quality. When I was at the store looking over the paint job, I found every one in stock to be of great quality. There were no noticeable errors on any of the 4 I saw. The only issue with this figure is that when you place him on a flat surface, his right toe points up, as if Medicom didn’t get his crouch sculpt aligned properly. This is a minor gripe, but really should have been corrected as Old Snake deserves perfection. This only presents itself if you plan to open and display snake, otherwise in the package he looks perfect. As with all MGS figures, this will be on ebay soon for 4 times the price, so act fast before they are gone.
