Anything with out batteries. I hate to sound vague but look for the older toys by that I mean ones that have been around forever. Those are the ones that have taught generations withstood the test of time. I always give Lincoln Logs to new parents.

Nesting toys are really good, blocks for building, ones that haave pictures, numbers and words, on them and the kind where shapes fit in there respective shape hole, and toys with mirrors are good too. these are the ones that have been around forever and are really good. Not necesssarily those expensive talking ones, that is just the lazy parents way of trying to teach there kids words and stuff.
It depends on the age if their at the age when they are curious about every thing then you need to get them picture books or little farm animals that make those animal noises they make. I have a younger cousin I know they love to play games that can be educational ( well don’t tell them it’s educational though lol)
