I love the fridge alphabet and I want to get my boys the Tag reading system. I love the educational toys and just want some more opinions and maybe some things that I have not seen or noticed. Thanks.

i try not to go too high tech and get my daughter a lot of things that are creative and allow for imagination and role playing. i try to make the teaching of ABC’s 123’s etc something we do together interactively but that being said I did get my daughter a electronic device for xmas for teaching ABC’s and basic spelling and about 6 other games.. very much like those little vtech laptops but without a screen and mouse.. but same games and principles. tag reading system looks awesome but dd is too young… wish they would develop it more to do reading comprehension questions and basic math and trivia etc.. my little sister had something like that back in the mid 80’s and it was freakin’ awesome.. she loved it so much and incidentally skipped kindergarden as she could already read well.

I love the educational toys at KidcoreToys.com, especially ones by Melissa & Doug. I’ve always found their toys to be extremely valuable to children, as well as high-quality. A few years ago, I bought my niece a play food set from them and it’s still in great shape (plus she still loves to play with it!). I found KidcoreToys.com when I was looking for a better way to give gifts during the holidays and I’m glad I did. Their educational and imaginative toys are just fabulous.
