I am liv­ing in China, so I can’t drop into the local Toys ‘R’ Us etc. My daugh­ter needs some­thing dif­fer­ent for stim­u­la­tion. She has plenty of songs from YouTube and the basic toys and books, but I can’t find any­thing that’s par­tic­u­larly chal­leng­ing and educational.

    Check Fish­er­Price. They have nice toys there.

    Toys R US has a web­site that offers free ship­ping at cer­tain times of the year. If that doesnt help, maybe get some ideas from the web­site and check out ebay.com. Fisher-Price also has a web­site and has won­der­ful edu­ca­tional toys. From per­sonal expe­ri­ence, I would say any of the Leap Frog toys (Leap Frog learn­ing Cen­ter, Leap Pad for babies) are great. Good luck!

    well im an edu­ca­tional con­sul­tant from DISCOVERY TOYS and all the toys there are edu­ca­tional and guar­an­teed, they are chal­leng­ing aswell as engag­ing, they are a bit pricier but like i said if it break it gets replaced for free with­out any has­sles, im not too sure if they could deliever to china but here is their address, and you can see their web site and go from there.

    go onto ebay or some­thing and look up Leap Frog toys. They have these plush frogs that do ABC’s and 123’s, per­fect for some­one her age. (all plush, no hard eye or small parts that can come off.)
